We stock two brands of pocket nappies - Happy Heinys and Naturebabies - we have found these to be the most reliable in terms of fit and performance.
Happy Heinys will give you the closest fit to a disposable and seems to fit the widest range of babies. We are now selling the new Happy Heinys birth to potty nappy and the original sized nappies. The sized nappies can work out quite expensive so we would normally advise waiting till baby is about 14lbs and starting with medium - use a cheaper 2-part system until that time. If you plan to have more than one baby using the nappies the sized pocket nappies can make sense.
Naturebabies have stopped making their sized classic stuffables and introduced a birth-potty nappy - they also allow you to choose poppers or velcro as the main fastening.
The Stuffable lite is another alternative for tiny babies - before the Stuffable Lite I would have shied away from recommending a pocket nappy for a very tiny baby - but with these I am confident you will get a lovely leak-free fit.
